Every year, during the fourth week of August, the town celebrates San Raimondo.
Built for the Mercedarian Fathers in 1709, the church of San Raimondo is located right at the road leading to the church of Sant'Efis in Nora.
The religious celebrations begin on Saturday, in the late afternoon, with a 1.5 km procession that carries the statue of the saint on the shoulders of the faithful from the parish church of San Giovanni Battista, in the centre of the town, to the small church of San Raimondo, along the road to Nora.
Once at the church of San Raimondo, holy mass is celebrated in the churchyard. On the following day, Sunday, the procession makes the reverse journey, bringing the statue of the saint back to the parish church.
During the journey on foot, the statue is placed on a light blue wooden palanquin and adorned at the feet with flowers and essences.
The parish priest leads the procession with prayers and songs, followed by four men carrying the palanquin, the faithful, but also folk groups wearing the traditional dress of Pula for the occasion, launeddas players, faithful on horseback and others carrying banners with the effigy of the saint.
