St. Peter, the patron saint of Villa San Pietro, is celebrated in the church of the same name.
Built towards the beginning of the 13th century by the order of the Saint Victor monks of Marseilles. This is the most significant monument of the village, in full Romanesque style, with a single nave and made of perfectly squared sandstone blocks.
The saint is honoured every 29 June with a morning mass and an evening procession where the statue of the saint is carried through the streets of the village.
