The beach of Perla Marina, located at Santa Margherita di Pula, in southern Sardinia, is one of the largest in the area.
Perla Marina is 1,500 metres in length, with a total area of more than 20,000 square metres, and can easily accommodate about 2,500 people. Here, the sand is ivory-white, with a few light-coloured pebbles that inspired the local name 'sea pearl'.
Its crystal-clear waters alternate from shades of turquoise to emerald green, with shallow sandy bottoms. Behind the sandy beach, a vast pine forest dotted with holiday homes provides shade as well as a beautiful scent all the way down to the beach.
Access mode
The beach is accessible via the SS195 towards Pula: after the Forte Village Resort, take one of the accesses to the sea for non-residents and turn there. Alternatively, you can reach Perla Marina on foot via the Riva dei Pini or Abba 'e Mari beaches, or you can go there by boat.
