Beach of Calaverde

Pula

The beach of Cala Verde (or Calaverde) is part of the hamlet of Santa Margherita di Pula in southern Sardinia.

The 250 metre-stretch of golden sand is bordered by clear shallow water that ranges in colours from crystal blue to emerald green.

It is one of the few beaches in the area with a small harbour, accessible from the beach after passing a short stretch of rocks. The small harbour, 220 metres long and 30 metres wide, is well sheltered from the wind, making it ideal for boat or dinghy trips.

A dense forest of pine trees and Mediterranean scrub provide shade to beach goers, as well as oxygen and fragrance to the whole area.

As this location is very well sheltered from the prevailing mistral wind, it is the go-to beach on windy days. It borders the beach of Is Morus to the northeast and the well-known Forte Village resort to the south-west.

Access mode

It is easy to reach through a tourist village in the middle of a vast, well-maintained pine forest.

Available services

The beach is equipped with all seaside services such as bars, restaurants, and lifeguard.
