Town Hall

Teulada

Located in the centre of Teulada, the Town Hall was built in the 1930s.

The two-storey building has a rectangular plan, with the façade facing the central via Cagliari and opening onto a pavement lined with trees and benches.

The central part that divides the two floors is clearly delineated; it has the main entrance and two side entrances with their short external staircases and two rectangular windows.

The wooden entrance portal features a window set in a round arch with radiating glass alternating with wood boards. Above the window, the municipal banner is kept in a gilded frame.

The upper floor features five windows with as many neoclassical concrete balconies. The central balcony counts four frontal pilasters, the side ones only two, with smaller pilasters embellished with neoclassical curlicue elements. Each French window on the upper floor is made of wood with ten square glass panes. Concrete corbels support the balconies, in a simplified neoclassical style.

In the second half of the last century, a rectangular annex was added to the rear, slightly off-centre from the original one.
